is it possible to run a 3l block, 3l heads. then joey's intake converter bolted to that. on top of that the original lim then uim?? i think it would be nice to keep the secondaries to make low end torque on the 3l when using the svt cams? am i thinking straight or im a wacked out?

my understanding is that the LIM mod replaces the stock LIM so that you can use the stock 2.5 UIM on a ovalport 3L ...

Hood clearance is the issue. It might make a nice velocity stack though

shave the original lim down until theres about 1/4 above them?? same with joey's lim so they are about the right height or at least so the hood closes. i dunno i think i can do it. or just buy a cowl hood

Its not worth it man. The whole benefit of the split port is its ability to bolt up. If you change the height at all now things wont fit as well.

Additionally you wont be loosing much tq down low, the extra half liter of displacement will help compensate. without splitport heads nothing will take full advantage of the resonant tuning inherent in the long / short / secondaries.

Get joeys LIM, get a tune, be done :)
