What is the torque specs for the ARP head studs? I do not have the box they came in since they were already installed in an engine.

Not too sure, but the head bolts might be TTY (torque-to-yield). If that's the case, you'll need to replace them if you uninstall them.

Of course, I could be completely wrong :). Doesn't the ford manual say how much to torque them down?

No, the ARP head bolts are not TTY, that is one of the great things about them. I believe I read in a post in the past it is 60 fl/lbs but don't quote me on that.

Called ARP tech support and they said 75ftlbs when using molly lube and 115ftlbs using 30w oil. Dont this seem alittle high??? anyone else this this is right?

that does sound very high I remember 60 ft/lb when I built my three motors. I can tell you that once you get to 60ft/lb it is scary tight. The bolts feel like they are going to strip out I ran over 400whp with no issues I will check my sheet from ARP when I get back home. tuesday and let you know. Don't go that high without me checking.

Thats what I thought that was way too high. I'll go up to 60ftlbs and wait for your response tomorrow. Thanks again for checking. I dont want to ruin this block so i wanted to make sure.
