Its been said a million times..You get what you pay for..Buy a B&M or Steeda. I believe theres a GB right now for a Ford racing Short throw..

don't ever get a cheap shifter unless you know someone that can weld to re-enforce the weld on the bottom shift linkage ball ... it will break otherwise ...

Another option is to watch ebay, I have seen used B&M's go for $60-70.
