Anyone know about this short shifter?

I have a cheap ebay shifter and it has worked out just fine for me. I used it straight out of the package for about two weeks. Then I brought it to have it welded and found that the little piece at the bottom that sticks out had bent a little. The welder bent it back and welded it in every place possible to reinforce it. All for free! Since then, no problems. (But I still keep my stock shifter in the car somewhere just in case)

:) That made me smile. It must be cheap if it bends!!! But I'm glad you got it reenforced before you did break it on the road!

Well it wasn't the main shaft that bent. It was only the small little part that comes off the very bottom. So it might now be quite as bad as you thought. But I still see where you're coming from haha
