Just wanted to let everyone know that our first two Autocross events of the year will be at Hershey on Saturday April 4 and Sunday April 5. If anyone is interested in trying it or just watching, come on out. It is a lot of fun and you can learn the capabilities of your car without worrying about getting a wreckless driveing ticket.

For more information go to http://scca-susq.com and click on autocross. Check out the pictures section to see some of the cars that run. I'm the old guy in the Gray SVO Mustang.

Maybe we could make this a get together and stop at Fudruckers to eat.

THREE LITTLE LETTERS...

Whos up for some old cop car autox

OK, I didn't click the link yet but are you only running in the Harrisburg area?

I quite enjoy watching autocross and may make an appearance.

Yea, that'd be cool to see! I'm going to go, never heard of it till this year. I'm thinking of running my car becouse I know it would be a blast, but I'm def going atleast to watch.

I only run with the Harrisburg club. It gets a little expensive to do much more because I have to take off work.

The Philly region sometimes runs in Warminster, the NE region Runs in Frackville and North Jersey runs in Englishtown.

Watching is only fun. Driving is AWESOME!!!!!!!

I've been to the Frackville autocross before.
Watching is fun but as you said, driving is awesome. I haven't personally driven in one but I've seen the reaction on some of the first time driver's faces...priceless. :)

Edit: I did ride with David Ford (a CEG member) in his CSVT when they were running at Nazareth a few years ago. It was a bit scary but at the same time, a total adrenaline rush!

You're thinking of selling the Volvo already?

That would be so cool to see you run that at the autocross. :)

I'm up in the air on the idea. We are going to get a take home exam that will span and ruin an entire weekend. I need to see what my prof says next week when school is back in session....:nonono:

I may have tracked down a helmet I can use.

Anyone have a white fire suit? I could be "dwarf stig"

the scca is going to have a race in my schools parking lot on april 25. idk if ill be racing... but i will be watching.

whats a weekend membership and typical entry fees?

I plan on going in the morning but leaving maybe around 2-3ish in the afternoon. Gotta see how the week pans out.

Due to reasons beyond my control, I will not be able to get to the autocross
