Anyone here Winter auto-cross?

not yet but I'm glad my merkur shares the same bolt pattern as the contour. No need for two sets wheels/snow tires. Just gotta throw them on which ever one I want to tear it up with! I might try it this winter...if I ever get plates for it lol.

Snow and ice rally looks like so much fun. When they do features of it in the magazines I read I get really really get excited.
 
I've done time trials down Bountiful canyon, UT. Not really official or anything, we just started at the top and had a person sitting down in the entry lot with a stop watch, we'd call him to start the clock when the driver started and the finish time would be recorded. we just tried to beat each others times and had fun doing it. pretty thick gravel with light packed snow and a lot of drift sliding = lots of fun
 
Hummmm, doesn't sound as fun once your out of high school and don't have access to the big open school parking lot in the winter anymore. haha Closest I get to auto-x anymore is when I pull into a store parking lot and pull the ebrake to get a reaction out of my girlfriend, who usually freaks out.:laugh: P.S. And I am taking aobut when there is snow on the ground...
