Cool, CA (yeah, that's a real town!)
I'm on a black chrome kick. I didn't want 18" wheels but what I have found so far are the Zyoxx 18x7.5 zx14's or zx15's in black chrome. I think right now my preference is for the zx14.

The other altrenative is having my SVT E1 rims black chromed but so far I've found that will be $200 a wheel.

Unless someone is aware of other wheels available in black chrome?

You may ask, "why black chrome?" Well, I've had a black chrome bicycle that I recently gave away and I'm thinking changing all the chrome on my black svtc over to black chrome will be awesome. (just haven't figured out what to do about the antenna).

Well gee, guess noone knows anything about Zyoxx. Well I do now ... They are out of SoCal with manufacturing in Korea. But what I was actually looking for was feedback on any problems or praises on their wheels.

As for the wheels I was considering, the zx15 started to grow on me BUT probably won't be available in black chrome for at least 30-60 days so I'll go with the 14. And it's not actually black chrome, they use some other process (paint/tint/clearcoat?) to simulate the look of black chrome. It's acually called onyx but the Zyoxx website still says black chrome.

Anyway, the 18 x 7.5 rim has a 40mm offset and is a bit heavy.

I was getting ready to pay $235 (Next or Victoria) each but I called Pacific Wheel Distrubutors (in Reno) and Suzanne quoted me $192 each plus shipping ($12 overnight, it's less than 100 miles away). Whole package with 225/40zr18 Nitto Neo Gens is $1342.

Well they finally got the wheels from Zyoxx today, got the mounting and balancing done, and they're ready for overnight shipping this afternoon. Got a tracking number and once I see they are out for delivery tomorrow I'll be leaving work. So I should at least have pics of the wheels and tires posted tomorrow if not mounted on teh car.

I hate myself for doing this ... Now I'm going to find myself lowering the car, getting bigger brakes, and of course buying a decent DSLR (that I'm already in the process of buying off ebay)
