Still don't have any pictures of the whole car with the painted calipers, maybe this weekend. Still annoyed that the camera makes that blue show up teal as well. Its actually Ford Blue Engine paint and looks a different shade in person.

the Cougar "S" came with 16" wheels and the 278mm rotor (CSVT). I used the brake bracket and the Titaniummetallic II Cougar pads. SVT pads wouldn't fit althought I was under the impression they were suppose too???

But either way the brakes and not beded entirely yet, but right now I can feel a noticable difference. I normally beging to slightly ride the brake when approaching an intersection, but with the new pads the brakes are touchy and I tap and realize I pressed too far and let up. So either way...they are making a difference as I need less pedal to slow on an approach.

Yeah I'm probably gonna try to clean it up this weekend and take some pictures somewhere. (damn thats a really open ended possibility!)

I think the brakes will look alot nice from a distance especially since the caliper will not be demanding center attention in the shot.

Like stated above, I think it was an...odd choice in color for the caliper.

Though I do disagree with you. Your car has a "black out" theme sort of going on...and the brightest exterior piece of the car is going to be the calipers (aside from the headlights).

Oh and just to bust your balls. OVERSPRAY FOR THE MOTHER ****ING LOSE.

Yeah I had to touch up the one side because of the mother ****ing caliper pin spring...I used brake cleaner and removed a little bit of that overspray but its still there.

Just to clarify for this thread as well, digital camera is teh geh:

with flash (all of the above with goofy teal color):

without flash ( the proper color ):

 All better! And the blue is not nor will be teal fairy colors :nonono:

No offense, but i really don't like the color, it doesn't flow at all. its not even a color that caplipers come in, just looks pep-boyish to me :(

I'd paint them silver or medium grey, something lighter then your wheels. that would look really good IMO

Tires are fine.

And if there isn't enough blue on the car for you I could always pop off the scoop

And actually there is blue incorporated thoughtout the car...under the hood I used the same paint color, including the powder coated support for the short ram intake. Inside the radio I installed is also blue lcd, the single lone guage is blue, and the next one I'm looking at will be identical. The interior lighting I placed under the dash and front seats, is also blue.

The only place the blue hasn't creeped into is the rear. Mainly because I haven't found a decent way to subtlely place it. Wheel except for the oval logo.
