My old `96 was taken away this weekend. :(

It will come home in about a week or so with a functioning MTX. I might have to take it up the canyon road near my house for the memories. Then Ill bring her home and take the Aussie bar, tubular toe arms, (maybe, need to check p/n) poly roll resistors, sideskirts, SVT exhaust, front bumper, SVT rear, projectors, LED tails, guages, etc off of her.

The SVT should have its new quarter panel and decklid installed by now. Its getting the Contour's SVT rear. When it arrives home I will do the same thing to it, mainly taking the Vortech, but otherwise taking it near stock as well.

Out of my collection of goodies I will have a stock Zetec, n/a SVT and a wicked Cougar in the driveway.

Something else for the Cougar is in the works, but its staying quiet for the time being.

Jon, you need to look at the shaft of the supercharger. I'm sure you already know of their sure fail splined craptastic nature of the first, second..... and maybe even their third revised shaft.
Knukoncepts did or still does make an upgraded shaft that will last, or I know it wouldn't be too hard to duplicate what he did.....

I thought abouit this today, and I had to post :D

Thanks for the reminder. I thought about it the day after the car went into the shop and I came back to Wyoming. Just a few more days and I will get to have a closer look.

The `96 is home. It looks like crap and runs even worse. The front bumper cover was taken off so they could load it to take it away. It gave up its rear cover to the SVT. It has a dead battery, a ½ tank of 1½ year old fuel, no inlet air temp sensor and the RF caliper is tied up (I lost the pads).

It runs (barely) and drives, thats more then I have been able to say about it in a long time.
