amusing csvt ebay ad

well, it looks like it's in decent shape. those tail pipes are hideous though. also doesn't speak much for ASE certification if he thinks adding some mufflers and a tornado will add 50hp.

After getting done rolling on the floor in laughter.....I realized it's not too bad. Just have to figure out how he caught a tornado. Those things can be tricky.

Yes because the mufflers are restricting on the exhaust. Pleeeaaaase lol. What in the heck is a "Tornado"
i think a tornado is closely related to a turbonator. like how superchargers and turbochargers are realted...ish.

bottom line is tornados are totally worth it, but the turbonator imho is a more proven option for this platform.

:blackeye:

lmao. i think with removal of the recockulous and a nice wheeling this thing would look very nice. but, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING DUDE!

Haha...

I saw this car listed locally on Craigslist, i've never seen this car in Webster so i'm assuming he doesn't drive it much.

If you get rid of the tornado (if it even has one), the exhaust tips, and the rims you've got a decent car, it looks to be otherwise in pretty decent condition...

Yea, I saw that in his craigslist ad and was dying lol

On a more serious note, if anyone is seriously interested in the car and wants me to take a look at at shoot me a PM. It looks like it's got potential to be a decently cared for car, despite the untasteful mods...

hmm looks like I have to get those tips so no one rearends me!

The car does look nice taken those parts off you have a good project!

Wow this ad really makes me laugh tho

The engine looks kind of dusty and grimy, and the headlights look kind of fogged over, like they need to be replaced or at least wet-sanded or something. And yes, the current mod setup makes it a horrible and wretched bastardization of the SVT Contour lol

Rare leather? Nickel platted(sic) rotors? Three-year-old battery? WOW!
Yeah, and those tips will really prevent rear end collisions cuz they're sooooo ugly as soon as someone sees them they will brake hard and change lanes.
c

The exhaust tips remind me of hypodermic(sp?) needles.

For someone who claims to be so into the little details (low friction this and that), that engine bay is filthier than my one that hasn't been cleaned in the 3 years I've owned it. Makes me think BS.

WTF was he thinking with those wheels?

Rare leather? As rare as SVTs I guess... Not like a C6 Corvette with the 4LT package or anything.

I will credit him that the interior looks very clean.

250 HP? And you're an ASE certified tech? Are you :censored::censored::censored::censored:ing kidding me? My 3L hybrid with more :censored::censored::censored::censored: that he has on that 2.5 only makes about 250 HP at the crank. The stock mufflers AREN'T restrictive, and the rest is snake oil. I wouldn't be surprised if he LOST some HP with that trash.

It's not in bad shape, all-in-all, but those wheels with the Red spokes - those are Hideous.

With 103,000 miles on the clock, the $6500 BIN is a wet dream. Apparently, he doesn't realize just how rapidly Ford's Red-headed stepchildren lose their value...
