:shrug: I remember mine being a little less than 3 quarts. Check with Amsoil dealer and see if you can return any unopened quarts.

It should be just under 3 quarts depending on how much you let spill out of the fill hole.

I got 3 quarts, it didn't spill out so I picked up another.....I haven't put the 4th in yet though so I don't know how much it will take. My haynes book says 4 though :shrug:

That's good news to hear, since I'll be running it shortly.

Just replaced trans fluid with the Amsoil Syncromesh and reallylike it! Of course the fluid that came out was not very clean. Shifts much smoother!

Glad I stumbled across this thread, I'm just getting done with my 3L swap and of course most of the trans fluid drained out.

I don't have a manual so I don't know where the fill plug is..

I see a Allen plug on the front of the trans would that be it?
Picked up 15w/40 Diesel oil today so I'm ready to fill that suka.. The local NAPA store recommended ATF Have to give them a little credit, their system says to install ATF so....
