What method are you guys using? The 4 feet of extensions method?

I use
-one 8" extention plus swivel for the bottom bolt
-one 8" extention plus a 3 or 4" extention plus swivel for the middle bolt
-two 8" extentions plus swivel for the top bolt
You do that and come on up we will do yours too!

i just put my alt. today took about 10-15 minutes to take it out and about the same to put the new one in
plus i get my alt.s for 30-40 bucks never had a problem with any of them

With air tools, I guarantee a Zetec alternator can be changed in less than a minute...

if you never had a problem with any of them, why are you replacing them and pluralizing the 30-40 dollar alternator?
it took Jeef and I about an hour and a half, primarily because it was wicked dark out and tools were everywhere, plus the alternator was wedged in place really good.

well ive never had a single problem with the alternators that ive bought for that price . put one in about every car ive had ... grandam , daytona, aspire , crown victoria .. thats why i pluralized . i just have a problem with the alternators that come with the car ... donno why

By swivel, do you mean the u-joint type?
