all schools closed except WYOTECH!!!!

the school isnt that bad. i like it but they run it like a business not a school. their main point is money, i was talking to an assistant coordinator today and the spend 56 thousand dollars a month on my building alone that im in right now on just heat. but its huge so i can see that. they had i think 1.8 million dollars to build the new disel building, buy all the cars that are in it and to buy all the tools and lifts and dynos. its a nice building. i was in it for their new high performance class. thats where i started the 3.0 turbo

maybe he's actually just being "nice"

could you imagine? somebody being nice.. nahh, no way, not in tonawanda! lol

Well , I was out in it all damn day , shovelling my arse off  . I have several elderly neighbors , a couple that were stuck and a few that are older (than me) & needed help - and of course my joint & cars . We got about a foot , with 3 (or so) inches of sleet in there somewhere for good measure . It was VERY heavy . I will sleep VERY well tonight .

maybe he's actually just being "nice"

Well that too. But you have to see this guy. HUGE tool. I cant talk to him without laughing. We'll be talking about the weather and he'll tell me how much he benched the other day right in mid-conversation.

yeah this snow was rediculously heavy! i'm not a fan... i spent a good four hours plowing my driveway.. i think it would've taken 1 hour if i had some damn chains for the tires. the darn thing would get stuck and i'd have to pull it out of wherever it got stuck. I'd only get to plow like 2 feet in before it wouldn't go anymore. very teeeeedious. all my buddies from MD were getting together cause they could actually drive on their roads.. PA sucks at plowing. they plowed my road at 2:30. but the good news is i got my baby freeee and took her for a spin, cause i needed more gas for the tractor, and just for kicks and giggles. i wanted to see how she handles in the snow, and very well i must add. Pray for baltimore county closing tomorrow! that would be amazing. that would technically give me a 7 day weekend cause i didn't go yesterday. WOOT!

The snow was way too heavy. Heavy to the point where I had to shovel out my Acrtic Cat 4 wheeler w/ a plow after it got stuck in the driveway.

Here i am at school posting, and the weather is still crappy! I have no idea what the superintendent is thinking

And theres this new guy who thinks he's all macho and breaks out his friggin $2000 snowblower and does everyones driveways and sidewalks. Lucky me

Macho, smacho...let him have it then. Less work for everyone else. He'd be my hero. ;)
I'm normally the one to snowblow out all my elderly neighbors.

no school no school no school. all black ice

Black ice? Luck you! My street is basically plowed shut. Ask Jason, he'll tell ya, he was impressed. :D

My stupid neighbor kid got stuck in the snow and ice. His mommy came to help him but she got him stuck even more than he already was.
He finally got the shovel out and got free. This is a first, the kid in usually in the house, I wasn't sure he even knew how to use a shovel.
I was LMAO!
Got 3L?

Sorry for the tree being in the way. I didn't want to make it to obvious that I was taking a picture.

My driveway just got plowed shut, but before that happened I had the car out to test the snows. :D

The City finally came and opened up the ends of the street so out I went. I really had no issues at all. I came back in from a different direction and the end of that road was slushy, went right though it.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm still going to wait for some snow, without ice, and do a comparison. So far so good though. :)

Steph likes her Graspics. There was a detour due to an accident, and she had to take really steep hill to get around it, others were spinning and she cruised right on up the hill.

So far these neighbors are turning out to be fun. I'm having fun at their expense, I like it. :D
More pictures will follow, I'm sure of it.

Steph said she got plowed in but was easily able to get out of the spot without shoveling.

Don't feel bad... Potsdam State (my school) was open for everything. EVERYTHING else, including all other colleges in the entire county, were closed. They left it up to the professors to cancel class, so everyone would show up, and the professors wouldn't be there. We had about 18" of snow, and about -25 degree wind chill. Now today all the snow is blowing from 35mph winds, so the front of my car was buried in 4ft of snow, and the wind chill is around -40...

Tomorrow I get to drive home for break, and shovel the 3ft of snow in Saratoga Springs my mom left for me to do...
