we just had a really bad storm last night and all of the roads are still really bad. but here i am at school posting in this thread... :(

ok well it took me an hour to get the car up into the drive way. sadly i park right next to it.

Well i figured out i dont have an lsd and my car goes better backwards in 4 inches of slush and ice

Thats a very good school to be going to. My brother recently graduated from there and still lives in the area. You guys have been getting good amounts of snow. Tough it out, quit complaining, look where you are...

I think we've got about 4 inches of ice pellets out there. No more sleet, it's back to all snow.

Yea, shoveling 4 inches of snow with more than a inch of ice on it too isnt easy. Thankfully our neighbor(really cool guy with a Porsche that he basically built himself and has 450hp) has a snow blower on his tractor and he brought it over and helped out. Now the car is covered in snow and ice. Any tricks besides just letting it melt?

I've seen electric blankets put on icy cars, but I'm not sure if they were the brightest of people, but it did get the ice off the car... For some reason water and a plugged in electric blanket didn't seem smart... Hairdryer the door open, take it to a carwash, prefeberly one of those do-it-yourself carwashes, the pressurewashers do the trick.

We've got LOTS of snow. Not as much as my sister in Oswego, but its still really bad. They still haven't gotten around to salting the roads yet!

Yeah, that isn't the smartest thing to do. My neighbors used to use an electric snowblower. I always wondered if they would get electrocuted.

The snowblower worked find for us. I didn't even have to get mine out, the neighbor (not with the electric one) came and did the driveway and sidewalk for me.

I really hope that you young guys are out helping out your elderly neighbors. That :censored: is heavy!!
