I'm going to have an alignment done next week at a higher end place... Car is primarily aimed for autox for the moment. Anyone have recommendations?

Steer me away from understeer. I have everything adjustable, except camber plates.

Let me check with another website I belonged to, to see if I can find the specs for a similar equipped car (specs should be the same as the Contour). If my memory serves me correctly, you want the rear angles slightly different from stock to get a slight oversteer, or neutral steer feel.

Found it. Although this is on a Elantra, notice that the car is used for autocrossing, and the front/rear camber is set for the high speed cornering. He has it set different on the front as well; BUT he also has a larger rear sway bar, which is a mod that makes the car handle MUCH better even with the stock alignment.

I've done alignments this way on all of my cars and find this is more accurate than on a machine.

I ran a Neon for a number of years in local AutoCross competition. I found the following helpful: http://faq.neons.org/faq/FAQ_S.html
Many misconceptions out there, check 3.6.5 in the aforementioned article.
