you can, that controls the stock guage in the cluster. I made a T so I could run the stock and aftermarket at the same location.

tee's are cool because you can compare actual temps to the OEM gauge needle location. After a while, the redundancy isn't really needed and you can get rid of the tee. I got my tee's from Ace Hardware.... neither Home Depot or Lowes carried the proper fittings.

i went w/out the T:shrug: Autometer say's i'm around 195 cruising around...and a little over 200 on the highway

well I wanted to keep my stck guage working. those temps are correct, it should range between 190 and 212 as long as it has a oem thermostat

i'm going to change it soon..i almost think i remember seeing 180 on the thermostat while i was doing the wp...btw,while we're on this topic..is there a gasket for the thermostat housing? mine didn't have one and it leaks a little:shrug:

I put my aftermarket gauge in the same location with a T! Only thing is my fans dont come on untill my stock gauge gets in the red and it's been so long sense it's been warm enough for my car to see over 190 temps I cant remember how warm my aftermarket gauge was reading
