Is this a good automotive scanner? I was watching a CP9180 yesterday, but it slipped through my fingers. Is the CP1975 just as good? will it freeze live data, and can you watch live data?

SCANNER IS A Actron CP9175

Thanks,
Adam

PS: Can a mod move this to general discussions please?? Sorry!

Pick up a CP9180. The CP9175 does give Freeze Frames but for another $30 or so, you can get the CP9180 which gives live data. While you may not always need the live data, it is good to have it. IIRC, the CP9180 was on sale for $150 or so this past week at Advance.

I have the CP9145 (older version of CP9180) and the CP9135 (older version of CP9175 but no freeze frames).

CP9180 $138.88 until Dec 29, 2007. Get it now before the sale ends.

I got the CP9145 for $240 (on sale around April of this year) :blackeye: .

Absolutely agreed. Igot one for Christmas; at the price it almost makes no sense to get the 9175 (which is only $10 cheaper at Advance).
