Is there any way to retrieve ABS codes w/ out use of an advanced scan tool. My ABS light is on after replacing the rear shoes, wheel cylinders, and bleeding the brakes.
not that i am aware of. also nothing you listed should have caused the abs light to come on. you might try cleaning the tone ring for the abs and see if that fixes the issue.
Update: Finally got around to putting in a used sensor. ABS light is still on. I tested the resistance of both rear wheel speed sensors and they are not the same. So, my guess is that the used sensor I installed was bad.
