I checked all the fuses, but not the relays, my horn didnt work, the car was overheating, the turn signals dont work, the fan speed in the car doesnt work, and the cruize control doesnt work... what happend, and where do I begin.... this car has been nothing but an electric mess! HELP!

horn/turn signals and cruise are like all caused by the "clock spring" failing.. search for "clock spring" and see what you get.

BTW.. this isn't a "maintenance issue" its a troubleshooting issue, so I'm moving it where it belongs.

Sounds like a serious electrical problem inside the dash... a short or something. I doubt your car was actually overheating, it was probably just the gauge going wacko.

bad alternator would cause the electrics to go crazy, but in this scenario its far fetched. was your battery light flickering?

Progress...

So I found one of the tail light sockets were bad, I changed that and now the brake lights work, the turn signal still do not, but the hazards work. The horn works now, I found a bad fuse. The fan speeds do not work, the heat/ac does not work but if I turn it on, you can hear it release pressure... ssssssssss... the sunroof just now stopped working, it's open but will not shut. And the cruise doesnt work. Im gonna blow the car up! HA!
