'99 SVT parts car and '99 SE to keep

Weeeeeeeerd! The black one is gone too. Now you just have to sell all the parts .

The '99 SE trans CEL code went away and the car passed emissions! 211,000 miles on it now.

We got the beast a little "passing emissions" gift and decided to paint the mismatched body parts today and fix a little rust.

Uh oh............ :eek::nonono:

The new paint is totally different than the original paint, damn. The sample we did before spraying the car actually looked good, but it didn't turn out. Anyone got some spruce green parts for sale . It is bad enough that I don't want to post pics.

I repainted it, now it looks fantastic! I ran to the auto parts store and had them mix color match on the spot. I'm so glad I could fix it because it really looked like shizzzz.

Still no pics though :D

hehe - pics. Mind you, we didn't fix the rear 1/4 dents yet, so don't call me out on that and remember the car was bought for only $260 so we aren't trying to dump a lot of $ into it. We were just looking to make it more presentable in a days time.

Painted:
-front bumper
-front passenger 1/4
-lower half of passenger front door
-rear bumper

Installed:
-svt oval grill
-svt lower mesh
-clear'er headlights(not mutch)
-replacement painted rear bumper

I don't get it  - thanks guys.

He picked up the car yesterday and was kindof speachless. He thinks he won't call it the beast any more, haha

is that a crack in the front bumper?
if so why didnt you at least attempt a repair before painting you lazy bum?

:D

Our painter was supposed to fill it before he sprayed the first color..... It is braced from behind. I think he didn't do it on purpose because the car is banged up anyway. For about $300 invested, the bumper can stay cracked. Adds character. :D
