So I just called Ford to find out my SVT production number and its as the title states. I just hope someone here used to have the car so I can get some background info on it. I purchased it from Howell, MI. at a dealership. It has significant body damage on the front quarter panels, and what looks to be a custom cat back exhaust and its lowered. Thanks.

Since I got the car I've secured the skirts because the rockers are so rusted that most of the mounts are gone. You can see on the passengers side I have a bungee cord along with a couple of zip ties holding one part of it together. The drivers side also has a few zip ties holding it up. I replaced the power antenna mast with one I had laying around from my last tour. I also put a nice detailing job on it after I took those pics. I managed to get most of the black stuff off of the passengers side doors. I doubt I'll fix the damage, I just want it to be mechanically sound.

I dealership sold that car? Was it a used car dealer? My 99 SE looked a lot better then that and the dealer I traded it into scrapped the car.
 
Used car dealership and I got the car for a couple of hundred... besides the body, it's in pretty good shape... I'll take some more pics of the interior and stuff and post them up.

They said some old lady traded it in and they have had it since early July. When I got home it had a some receipts and some old parts in the trunk. The old idler pulley, serpentine belt, and some other stuff was back there. Originally I seen it listed for $1200. It's actually a YouTube video of the car from when they first listed it. I only paid a couple of hundred for it.

It was a older lady that did own the car before the dealership i tried buying it from her & I was considering buying that car from the dealer ... You should sell me the exhaust :laugh: i have a t-red front bumper, passenger door, driver fender & possibly a few more things, if your looking for parts send me a p.m

Good buy only real issue except not looking pretty that i know of is a bad 3rd syncro.
 
Thanks for the info. The dealership did say a little old lady had it before but you never know if they were just pulling my leg.. Yes third gear syncro is a issue and does grind if you slam it in there. So far double clutching and taking it easy works until I can tear it apart and fix it. Today I replaced the IMRC with one from a 99' cougar and now they are working consistently. It's got some other minor issues but all in all I'm happy with it. I'll be in touch regarding the bumper and stuff...
