Hey guys....
Long story short i was given a 1995 contour Lx for my first car and i want to work on it...my idea for the body kit was putting the svt kit on but some say its not possible for the earlier models...I want to go mainly performance but i cant find anything for my car... any one with any ideas plz help lol....

its possible. you just have to mold the bottom half of the svt bumper to the top half of your bumper. its been done many times. there are tons of performance parts. just read the stickys at the top of the duratec performance thread!

or you could find one of the rare micha bumpers like i have

If you have no clue, start at the top...

as in... the top of this performance forum.
There is a sticky thread called "READ FIRST". Who knows, maybe it will help.

The Punisher has spoken

Okay on a serious note, please take a look at the top of every thread. You will see sticky's in almost every thread offering links and explanations to every possible modification you may need to do to your car.

That being said welcome to the boards and search search search:cool:

'95 LX huh? COOL! Keep it running.
micah bumper or molded - only options you have

Or you could do what I plan to, a 98 and up front end swap. I found a 98 in the junkyard with all the necessary parts and it's even the same color as mine

^ I have fond memories of being at the junkyard that day, in the snow, pulling those fenders and hood Chris. :D :)
That was the best junkyard day ever! Snow on the ground and it snowing at a good clip, not another person in the Ford section. There's nothing like going to the yard on a snowy day.
It was silent except for the metal pipe holding up the hood of the Taurus behind us, when the wind would blow, the pipe would scrape on the metal hood.

Did I mention it was cold as hell? Frost bite was starting to set in but the trade was worth it. :)
You did a nice job with that car.
