Hey I've got a 95 4cyl and whenever it rains the floor in the front passenger side gets soaked. The carpet is messed up on that side also. I dont know if its a common thing or what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan,
The gasket/weather stipping material is no doubt shot. Pull your wiper arms - I had to use a wiper arm puller to get my arms off, but you may be able to pull them off with a pair of channel locks (I prefer the puller; no scrathes/dings left on the arms). Pull the cowl by removing the screw covers with a tiny flat screw driver or a pick. You'll see the cabin filter box and you will definately see where the water's coming in.

You can head to your local Home Depot and get some foam weather stripping and replace it and should be ok. I used a product by Permatex that is similar to that Great Stuff foam, BUT is a gasket maker. There's JUST enough in the can for you to make a nice gasket. It comes out of the can slowly and expands somewhat. I just made a zig-zag pattern all the way around the box and reinstalled it. Worked like a charm.

Good luck!

Actually, you don't need to pull the wiper arms. Just turn off the power then the wipers are pointing vertical.

Had that issue. Grabbed some RTV and slathered it around the lower part of the cabin filter bracket. Prob. solved.
