Few of you guys lured me away from the Ace Allures that I had my eyes set on…and gave some good reasons on moving forth with my 7 year old son’s choice of the 5Zigen Gavis-1’s (kids got good taste). Needless, after a couple weeks delay…I present some wet pics. These are 18's, +43 offset, with 225/45 Falken 452's. Tires are pushed out about 1/2" more than stock...

We have some springs coming out for the car that will give a subtle drop of 1/2" in the back and 1" in the front (keeping the raked look of the MS6). Hopefully will have them installed in a month or so (still in development stage). The ones giving a 1 1/2" drop cost too much...and the cheap ones from Megan drop it 2", which I think is a bit too low.

Other mods to date include an AEM CAI, Boost Gauge, and a MBC. I have not run the car yet since I just got it in August…but similar mods are getting around 13.7, which should not be too hard (I ran a 14.971 with my SVT).

Thoughts – good or bad, I can take them all.

Not too bad. I think those would look killer on a TRed SVT. A light tint all around would look greeeeeeeeeat too.

looking good..... too bad 5zig's don't make those for our bolt pattern, coz they do look good.

maybe its just me, but they remind me to much of the factory pre98 SE wheels.

Looks really good!

MS6 was on my top list. I will pick up a MS6 over a G coupe any day. I almost flew to GA last December to get one.

I remember clearly when the Contour hit the streets for the '95 model year. I really liked those SE's. There's a midnight red down the street with those stock 7-spokers on it, and it catches my eye every time I see it.

Sorry, just not feelin' the wheels. It takes away from the Speed 6 look. Looks like an ordinary Mazda 6 now. Sorry man, 'cause I really love the car.

Oh dude, no need to be sorry...comments are welcome. I personally disliked the 15 spoke rim from the get-go and after trying to keep these things clean, it easily solidified my choice in new ones.

Thanks for the comments folks. I really do think these things make the car. The springs should be coming into production in a few weeks...so I'm waiting to get me hands on these.

I also need a serious roll...the offset puts these right on the lip, which I can easily catch in a quick acceleration or hard turn. Since the lip on this is 2 pieces welded together, I'm hoping it can be done easily. We'll see...

As for the comments about the 7 spoke Contour wheels...I don't think they look the same at all. Personally, I always liked that rim, so I'll take it as a compliment :)
