5th SVT I bought this summer. Another silfro E0, rusty but trusty. Rockers are gone. Bought some on ebay last night so I can get to the repairs. Runs and drives pretty good, actually is the only one I didn't have to put on a trailer .

Say hi to 'rusty' ;)

That picture is actually my neighbors driveway hahaha. They got divorced and left the house for the bank to take. My other neighbors don't really care and we all help eachother out with car stuff, house repairs, dog/cat sitting, mow eachothers lawns, etc. Good people around here. I never have more than two project cars at one time so it doesn't look like a junk yard around here.

I try to stop. Its amazing how as soon as I get rid of one, almost the same week there is something else that pops up for sale that I can't pass on.

Made the image bigger in the first post.

Issues, yeah - maybe. I'm not a hoarder nor do I keep these cars sitting around. I simply enjoy buying, selling, parting, and fixing SVT Contours. Not sure why.

I do have a "limit" for money I will spend on one depending on what the plan is for it.

This one doesn't need anything major but the rockers and other rust spots to be repaired/painted.. The secondaries aren't kicking in, needs oxygen sensor(s), mesh, and a good cleaning.

Now if the car had a blown motor or trans or any other serious issues combined with the rust, it would have been parted for sure or I would have tried to trade it off for something.

Yeah well most people's "issues" cost them money, Joe's adds more to the wallet. It's even better because he's my brother and I get parts! :)

Yeah I hear you on that. My car addiction and "stock sucks" attitude cost me money and alot of tickets with the law. lol Oh well...thats why I go to work and do what I do...so I can enjoy the cars I love.

And Joe....I want a hookup on parts like your bro has!! :) lol

I will keep track of how much fun it will be ;). I took the SVT skirts off today, yikes what a mes :nonono:.

For some reason my cell pics aren't loading to my email properly, so I have one pic of the passenger rocker to show ya :blackeye:

Ouch.... not sure I have the confidence to cut out and re-weld new rockers. Can't wait to see photos of the progress.

Can you link me to the rocker panels you got on ebay for the CSVT? I see one company called motor city sheet metal and the price for both sides is $49.99 buy it now? Is that what you got???
