4.6L V8 Focus

Yup, thats right...he took a NA 4.6L Cobra motor and dropped it into his Focus, along with the RWD conversion..

Kugel Concepts started it years ago (2003, IIRC). They shoehorned a 5.0L into a Focus. There was another outfit that stuffed a 351 in there using the same underlying hardware.

Though it looks like the guy took down his site, I've seen the 351 in the Focus. I can only imagine what it's like driving something that powerful and that small.

I know there was one guy in my area that had the conversion, kept meaning to hit up some of the meets he was attending.

I'm guessing more than jag awd stuff would cost. I would rather have that instead with a 3 liter motor. But I guess that's just the preference of a silly rally driver. I guess if I want to see something like that I would just have to do it myself.

You could build one for under $20,000 (including the car) if you use a used 5.0L Engine, and trans.
