3l ?

i just did some searching. it is a 2000 year sable. the coil on plug design was used in 2000 sables. besides, that bay looks too clean to be an engine swap done by someone not on CEG:).

Ah yes, because the #1 qualification for performing a clean engine swap is that they be a member of an online message board.

Ok, so i have searched around.. And I haven't really got a clear answer as to why the DAMB heads will not work. All I see is something about VCT this, VCT that... What's makes VCT incompatible with our cars? I have searched, and no one has given an answer other then..."VCT = No Good" And not all DAMB heads employ VCT if i did my research right. Like i said I am new to cars in general, but I would like to think I know enough about them to understand what people are talking about. So can someone please just give me a straight answer as to specifically why these heads aren't compatible?

dude I think your little statement about RFF cams in a direct acting bucket tappet head pretty much says it all. I would advise you do nothing more complicated that changing your oil and air filter for the next few years while you do some learning.
