3L install

Anyone in the NY area know of anyone who would do a 3l swap on a 00svt or can i just inquire with a local mechanic? How does the tune work, do you need to go to a specific tuner or is ther mail orders, how do you get ur car tuned? I asuume it will have to be once done.

i can do it also... you dont need to have them tuned. if you want a couple more hp tune it but ive had untuned 3l for 2 years no problem

Greg, aircougar, did mine up in chicopee mass. He is recommended by many including me! With some research you can do it yourself easy. just need the tools and the space.

He has done just about several million 3L swaps :shocked:, Mine my friends my other friend is lined up for him.... and you can chill and do it with him he teaches you. A good man and a good friend and in this case the most important part a GREAT MECHANIC!
