2011 Ford Edge

I hear the 2.0 ecoboost will make just a bit more power the the 3 liter DOHC and the edge will be the 1st to get that engine

Ha the Sport is getting 22" wheels std. Its also getting the 3.7 v6 engine. Glad to see they're actually making a real "sport" model

I don't know what they're doing about price though, that one looks a bit more spendy than the current model, and the current isn't cheap.

That user interface looks wayyy too busy for me. I like it simple. Am I the only one that feels that way?

Cool looking car though.

Good question. The current Edge Sport is about $40k. That's wayyyy to much for an edge IMO. Hopefully they'll rework the prices too.

lol here a flex can get up to 57+ fully loaded. The AWD ecoboost flex starts at $48k, and it's a toaster car. I just don't understand the new direction that ford is going. I have seen people driving them, I thought because they were toaster cars they were cheap, so why would someone pay 50 grand for a car that has the style of a cheap econobox? I know the flex and edge are 2 different cars, but it shows a direction that is confusing, especially since sticker on a Raptor is only $50k.

3 rows of seating, tons of space, twin turbo v6, all wheel drive. with the taurus SHO going for around 38-40k, 48k doesn't sound so unreasonable for that much more car. And with all the buzz about ford's quality going up, I think they can start charging people what a quality car costs. I'm sure label whores won't be happy with that because it's "just a ford"

Isn't 38k the SHO base price which doesn't get you much? Pathetic you have to pay a ton more $$ to even get a handling package in a SHO. I would never pay $48k for a baseline small crossover SUV.

The Ford Edge is a small crossover? It's by no means an Expedition, but they're not exactly small.

Dissent: Looks like a plow truck. The front end must push enough air in front of it to get compression shock. What ever happened to aerodynamics instead of macho trucker grilles?
