2011 BWM M3 vs 2011 Mustang GT

Kind of reminds me of an article a while ago about the CSVT vs an Audi, vs a BMW, vs a couple other cars. Contour won basically all the contests but they said, we can't give it to the contour. So the winner is the BMW! lol

was that the 1999 car and driver video review? I believe the A4 was 1st, bmw 2nd, and SVT 3rd even though they said "it won every performance category but is just too unrefined"

I watched it yesterday =)

Cool, a Mustang winning on a skidpad against an M3... that's some •••• right there!

Myself I'm more interested in the Generals response, the Camaro now needs to step up its game, lose weight and gain torque :-)

Plus the Camaro has as many blind spots as Hellen Keller...
 
I test drove one of the new stangs, I loved it!

Plus you can use the money you save on the stang and modify it to easily beat the M3. Although M3's are very sexy well built cars, I would rather have a 5.0 mustang in my garage.

Easy there Captain Obvious. I don't think they specifically matched these two cars up to say that a Mustang is "better" than an M3. They did it to give us beer drinking hillbillies a stiffy at the thought of beating up on our white collared counterparts on the way home from the plant to our trailor parks. :laugh:

Mustang GT has returned to be a top class GT. I never would have guessed that a GT could match an M3. Those Ford engineers must be putting in a lot of overtime at the design facility.

at the bidding of the CEO i'd imagine. it was either they turned the image of the blue oval around, or lose their jobs. remember, they didnt take anything from the govt.
 
Awesome video,

I am also super happy with the Mustang and what it has to offer. I'd like to see them throw the Camaro in the mix just for kicks. Way to raise the bar Ford!!!

ive always hated that video. they say the contour is best bang for the buck, and best performing. and it gets 3rd place. they say the bmw "disappoints", and it gets 2nd.
