No I didnt hit 13.9 I ran best of 14.5 but at commerce thats about a 13.9 anywhere else cause of the elevation, the track goes slightly uphill and it was humid as hell and hot as a fire on the track. And yeah I had problems hooking like a mofo, and I am still learning how to launch this car, it did leave alot better in boost though than without.

so at what rpm did u launch?
 
I launched at around 3k-3500, at first I was extremly nervous cause of the last track day I went too and this being a stock drivers axle I launched at 1,500 and it just bogged like a booger,lol then I said hey if it snaps ohh well and launched and it still bogged a little but got better and better. My times kept getting better, if I had a few more runs I would have hit 13's. My first few were 16.0, 15.6, 15.2, then down into the 14's. The more I ran the better I was getting aquanted with driving a turbo car on the 1/4 mile. Plus with the 8psi and 14psi I was flipping it at first in 3rd gear then I started switching it in 2nd and started getting alot better times.

your boost controller is a 2stage one too? cool. i just got one myself. however, i was planning on setting it at 7.5 and 12lbs. the heat out here scares me. i would think at 14psi, 2nd gear would be useless, right?
 
Yes at 14psi 2nd gear is useless on the streets, on the track with all that vht it works, I didnt spin at all in 2nd.

really!!!? hmmm. last question, sorry. what tires are on ur car? i have yokohama ES100s on all 4. they look good but can't hold the pavement for crap. hence, good drifting tires. i wanna buy stickier ones. i guess i should look in the wheels n tires thread. might be a lot of info for sticky tires.
 
I had on the fronts bfg g-force kdw's 17's on old svtf wheels, they are pretty sticky. I was not the only one with traction problems, even some of the mustang guys were having traction issues.

Funny on this one cause he launched hard while I bogged and got about 8-10 cars ahead and I ran past him at the 1000 foot mark,lol

I am gonna work on them this weekend, I have sooooooo many vids I need to seperate and make smaller clips out of from this past weekend. Plus this weekend is Cohens 2nd bday party sunday, but I should have them done and posted tonight.

Yeah they are growing up fast Christine, too fast at times ya know. My daughter is already 10:shocked: its like yesterday she was born.
