2007 escape motor??

yea we figured out the pipe, but totally forgot about the whole pilot bearing bushing... so its going to have to go in late tonight or tomorrow?

You can cut the end into a pie pieces and it will release the pressure and try pulling it again or you can cut notches on the side of it for the fingers of the puller to sit in and pull it out or flush cut it with a sawzall and grind flush. Dont heat it up to much.

how flush? are we talking like literally flush with it or smoothed out its okay if there is a little lip? im in the process of doing it right now but i dont want to cut up the surroundings trying to get close

Haha, he meant the tranny wont go on the motor all the way. When you say grind the pilot bushing flush do you mean inner diamter or the end of it thats sticking out of the crank??

im sorry i was a little frusterated (sp) the fuel rail is hitting the pass motor mount. i might just need a older escape fuel rail maybe and that will solve all problems

You PMed me asking what I did on my 07 motor but your PM box is full. Anyway since mine is a ported motor I used the stock intakes and stock fuel rail. Search around for what others are using on full 3L's.

that would be amazing if you have a picture and how to do it, i have the resources to do it i just dont want to mess anything up

Well... I did exactly what he stated I cut the rail shorter and capped the end off so it would clear the engine mount. I don't' remember if I used a plug or crimped the end and brazed the joint but either would work.
