I just hit 241k miles last week......still going but with a few leaks!
op: I can see the top of the 2 peeking up, but I may not see it for awhile longer because I plan on driving the Cobalt to and from work this summer.....

I'm trying so hard to get to 200K. I drive my car aimlessly every day after work, just cuz it calms me down if i've had a stressful day. Also thinking about taking it to Virginia this weekend for vacation rather than the Fusion, but the old lady will be the deciding person there because my A/C doesnt work and my car is loud. But still, i'm only just a little over 125K
take care of it and it will ...

Yup, i know. Gets an oil change every 5K with Mobil 1 Syn, already has a new clutch, trans has amsoil syn, its getting all new suspension all 4 corners, run injector cleaner through it (sea foam), and try to baby it every once in a while.. I do beat it when i go to the strip though, but the car doesnt seem to mind.
Finally reached the 200,000 mile club on my 1999 ford contour Zetec!! I had this since the fall of 2003 when she had a mere 58,000 miles, at that time the motor was already shot from been driven with the belt broke up, (previous owner) I was able to get a motor with 30,000 miles intalled, so engine wise I guess I still have 30,000 more miles to go! I've been trying to get by as cheap as I can with this car, but she's always treated me well. Especially after getting rear ended in it in 2010, when it had about 150,000 miles, She left me stranded once, timing belt at around 125k miles. (20 miles from my dads, he came out with his tilt bed) another time out in the middle of nowhere, AC compressor locked up, shredded belt, was able to get back down the road after some time. Still no AC in the car. Shes showing more and more rust everyday, but i'm looking forward to seeing how many more miles she's got!!
