you know, im glad the new mustang is doing well...but that car (terminator cobra) is the greatest musatang evAr. Looks wise, performance wise. Yeah, the GT 500 has 500hp...but it don't look like that, and you know what - you can have one of those puppies making more than 500hp for less than a gt 500, and the IRS.

you can have a terminator making 800rwhp for less than you'd pay for a shelby. but it doesn't come with a warranty! :laugh:
 
meh...don't push it hard enough to break it and it wont break right?

you should be able to pick up atleast a 2 year warranty on a used terminator.

Firstly, you'll ruin it peeling off inspection/registration stickers.

Secondly - i don't car how good your eyes are, you're impeding your vision. Especially at night. I can understand tinting your other windows...i have it myself, but i will also admit that at night, it can be very difficult to see out the back/side windows. And i only have 35% ! I remember one time i went out to PA to a friends house, and there's no light around where i parked the car (house is surrounded by woods), and it was so dark i couldn't see anything behind me. I had to have him guide me so i didn't drive off the pavement.

To put that on the most important window to see out of... nuts to that man.

Unless he has an aftermarket K-member, that car is way too low. Lowering that much, without fixing the geometry is very bad; Especially w/ street car spring rates and shocks and wide tires.

And, you're right, 315's will fit, if you have wheels w/ the right offset.

ok, but when you modify a car, the plan is to create the best mix of power and reliability right?

if i had a terminator with 500+ hp, i think i'd be happy with it.

Generally, the more power you make the less reliability you are going to have, granted there are many different variables to this, but it's what has always been pounded into my head from various people.

yeah i know, but there still should be a "safe" area for that car where it won't blow up. Just look at the turbo guys here...

Believe me i know about the mod bug, and honestly...it's changed me. I've got close to 10k in my car (or close to) and i mean i really don't have much to show for it. I was kinda forced to do the trans, which was the most expensive thing.

My point is, i really wouldn't be too interested in creating pushing the mustang to 800 hp and having it blow up on me the next day. maybe if i had money to piss away. a "safe" 500hp or so would be more than enough.

Hell...even stock that terminator is a beast.

I concur. The same goes for anybody who buys a Mustang/Camaro/muscle car and does not drive it like it's makers intended. The first person who tells me that an SRT-8 Charger was NOT meant to be drivin fast is getting their balls removed via e-mail self-castration hypnosis. Why on earth would a person buy an Impala SS and drive it like an LT? WTF?!?! If you want to drive responsibly, get a responsible drivers car, not a symbol for youthful rebellion of traffic laws. Does anybody remember cars that would not function properly if they weren't romped
on regularly? Certain Mustangs come to mind....
