My mom has a 1998 Contour SVT she is wanting to sell. The car has around 106,000 on it. It was a good car then it spun a bearing. Replaced the rod bearings, one was spun, but it still has a noise in the bottom end. My guess is it is a main bearing. Has a few spots where the paint is peeling, but the car is fairly straight. Would make a great parts car or a great 3L swap, but would need a little paint work to be slick. The side skirts do come with the car even though they are not in the pictures. She drove it up the road the other day and claims, she couldn't hear a noise in it. But she has never been known for hearing sounds from an engine either. It is located in Crossville, TN. Asking price is $1,300.00 OBO. I would love to buy the car, but they want it out of their yard and I don't have anywhere to put it at my house. Too many restrictions. Thanks for looking.

May be a little low for her. My dad is trying to convince her to put a 3.0 in it, but she don't have the funds right now. I will pass the offer along, but not real sure it will go anywhere with her.
