102K and better than ever...?

So my car is at about 1027XX and about a week ago the strangest thing ever started happening to it, it started running better than ever. I can't fathom why other than the parts took this long to fully break in or maybe the calm before the storm, but whatever is going on, the Tour is running more smoothly, quietly, efficiently, and faster. It's the strangest thing ever, any thoughts on why this happened? Not that I'm complaining haha.

How many years have you had that fender? IIRC, it was almost three years. I think it's time to install it.

Coincidentally Dan, in my 4 nights of commuting to work I only used a little over a 1/4 of a tank. Which for some reason seems insanely well. I could have sworn it normally takes a little over a half. :shrug:

All the saved gas got burnt after I punched out the morning of my last night. NO, I did not burn out again ($460 to buy, mount, and balance the tires is enough reason not to). :laugh:
