Mhmm. I agree 100%We may keep the car as a spare, but it's up for sale again for now. Needs MLPS, front brakes, and a tranny cooler
 
Probably what I payed, but I'm not going to ship them to west butt:censored::censored::censored::censored:... I want to avoid that. I'll probably keep them local.

iirc its right next to the battery. and iirc its like a $25 part. worth a shot and or getting one from a junk yard to see what happenes. also a atx cooler is always recommended for this atx ...
 
Is this for real? I thought you were just getting ready to mod this car and now the trans went.... bummer - I guess better now than after you put a bunch of $ into it :cry:

My parents want a more permanent fix to the problem, and that means a new car. Plus, the Focus will be alot easier to mod, and will be alot more fun. I'll se if I can keep the Contour as a project and slap it in storage if it doesn't sell. I still love it, I'm just totally sold on a 5-speed:laugh:

Ya, I know it. Thanks alot for all of your kind words and advice over the past few months. I'm sure I'll need it again with the Focus.
 
if you need any help on the focus let me know. IIRC my friend is the one who figured out how to do the fog light mod for the 06-07s
 
it looks so much better with the Street Appearance Package. although my friends has the smaller spoiler and is black. :drool:

Edit: although for that price i would rather have a Mazdaspeed Protege. :laugh:
 
So back to the buckin.... Im getting some bucking im my CSVT, 99... And it just recently started. It in 2nd gear at about 1500 to 4000 rpms, if im not gunnin it... And i get a little in 3rd gear as well im sure... So the tranny is it? or am i lookin at the clutch?.. :shrug::help::help:...
