Justin. I just emailed you about making a hood for our cars. Glad you found the site. Let me know what you think about those photoshop pictures I sent you!

We should also see about having you make a carbon fiber engine cover for us as well. Hopefully you will have better pricing then what 3M services can offer :shrug:

yeah i say the hvac and headlight switches made of carbon would be nice and what about the inserts in the doors that hold the door locks and stuff? i second the eye lids or third them umm also the mirror mounts and sail panels for sure!! and the engine cover not to keen on the hood but you guys make awsome products ohh carbon sunroof control panel which constanly breaks!! and even the sliding cover that covers then sun roof i dunno let me kno what you guys think just thrown ideas
 
What about a CF sunroof panel? It weighs 15lbs (frame=6lbs, glass=8lbs, sealant and stuff=1lb)... which I reduced to 9lbs by replacing the glass with lexan. I'm sure if the unit (frame + glass) were a single CF assembly, you could get the weight even less. With nice looking CF, you could even remove the sunroof headliner cover, which probably weighs another 1-3lbs.

At the top of the car, this should help with slaloms, plus would significantly reduce the stress on the sunroof motor & gear.

eyelids would sell like hotcakes... hell, I'd buy 2 sets immediately as I own 2 SVT Contours.. :)

I'd even be down for a set that are already color matched if Topshop has the capabilities... if enough of us want a set as a group buy I would assume we could all get them painted together in waves of sorts... IE, Black ones are all sprayed together, Silver Frost sprayed together and so on... I'm assuming that it would cut costs a bit too...
 
except for use that have a faily unique color ... but I want a set anyway, I have a set of headlights that could be used for testing in absolutely needed ...

I also have just the lens part of the headlight too for mock up or to get the lower eyelid made

Def would buy one of those. COuld it stand up to the heat. I know CF can take a lot of heat but that much?

I would def buy the HVAC and Headlight panel carbon fiber pieces.
The sail panels a def.


What about a CF center console and a grille?

Either way its cool, I have a mystique so it would be diff for me. Just throwin a few of my ideas out for the group.
 
Someone should do a CF HVAC Bezel, the Bezel around the HL Switch, and the Bezel around the gauges.. That would look so killer.

Didnt the Saleen Contour have that setup?
 
I think we really need to keep providing Justin with pictures when we ask for stuff...

Can someone get some pictures of the sail panels and the dash parts so we can get valid answers from TopShop?
 
personally I think the first thing they need to do is make fiberglass eyelids ... they are going to sell great and that might lead to many other purchases in the future ...
