When you have hids, is it a good a idea to remove the low beam flash when you hit the remote lock key twice? and can someone explain why also, please? thanks in advance!

yes, remove the relay that flashes the lights when you have HIDs installed. turning the ballasts on and off quickly like that is not good for them.

already removed them... just wondering why it was recommend to removed it. thanks...

Hmm, I wonder why my car is unhappy.

If it makes you feel any better my lights didn't flash at all, well unless I kept hitting the lock button over and over and over. I installed my HIDs and all of a sudden they flash, they flash bright too. My brake lights don't flash though, my thrid brake light does, but not my actual tailights although I thought they did when I didn't have HIDs in.

This is what kind of sucks about putting in HIDs in regards to the light flash, it barely worked stock and now that it does work I have to remove them, it sucks.

Haha. I dont care either way. Usually I'm close enough to the car to here it lock so I dont bother hitting it again to make the horn scare someone.

You see.. I purposely hit it again.. JUST to scare somebody.. sometimes I hit it three or four times as fast as I can just to rapid-honk my way in to someone's annoyed list.

So I walked around the car and watched for lights and only the third brake light flashes. How odd.

i think that they do, but like the headlights its so fast the lights don't really light up, where as the 3rd brake light bulbs are smaller or leds ... you need to hit the button many times and check the lights.

everyone remember that if you leave your high beams on it will flash those instead.
