finally got the 200 lowered.nothing major, just a slight drop up front and the rear is down to make it sit about level.
last time i took shots, the rear of the car had over 200lbs of wheels in there lol,so this is actually not far off that drop, but with the aid of P.I springs this time round.

worked with a good friend in his workshop all day long.managed to tease the rear pinch bolts from the bottom of the rear struts cos there very very easy to snap on mondeos.seriously easy.

so heres the final pics.it will settle a little more, but only by a couple of milliletres.

there 18" x 7.5" team dynamics Monza RS wheels.and the best bit was, there were exactly what i was looking for and didnt cost the earth either.

the coloured edge comes in yellow and red too,so you have a choice when ordering.
i coudnt find them anywhere here but for one place, and within a month there were everywhere,so i guess they really havent been out too long lol.

Why didn't ford just bring this car over and reverse the interior...SERIOUSLY!
in theory at least,it largely came from you guys!! the powerplant etc all from stateside.

what im unfamiliar with is your safety laws with bumpers.am i right in thinking you need to have a certain amount of bumper(fender) width cos i noticed the contour, focus etc have fatter looking fronts and rears?

Yes, I believe most of the time our more strict safety standards keep us from getting the best cars. Whether or not that is just a bumper thing or overall safety... I don't know. But man that's a nice looking car! Panel gaps and fit and finish... it all looks perfect man.

all bs if u ask me. you cant tell me the DMV sleeps easier registering a T-model car rather than a mondeo with smaller bumpers?

Geez...like everyone else said...I need to take a cold shower. That car is pure sex. WOW:shocked:

What color is that? Custom? A mondeo stock color?

I love your car.

the colour is Ford Imperial blue which they used on the escort cosworth, racing puma edition, focus RS gen 1 and a few other cars ended up with the option for it.
but the ST200 only came in imperial blue which made it very easy to spot amongst the ST24's which had a range of colours and made the 200 a bit more exclusive.
there were 50+ white ST200's made but a majority were ordered for the police to use and those that were cancelled ended up in the for sale ads and forcourts
