Interior color?

Man... I hate to even ask this question for looking like an idiot, but I'm sure this is the quickest way to an accurate answer.

I don't know for certain what color interior my Toreador Red '98 has. Yes, I'm serious. I think it's Prarie tan, but I'm not sure.

Here's why I don't know:

1. My other '98 is Denim Blue with blue interior (so this doesn't help for comparison purposes)
2. I don't have the original window sticker and I'm not the original buyer
3. I can't locate a sticker of any sort on the vehicle that might clue me in
4. I stare at the fabric and plastic parts, and I can see the color being labeled either tan or gray
5. The copy of the '98 brochure (yes, I do have that - believe it or not) doesn't show interior shots or provide color samples of the interiors
6. I've been able to spot other 'Tours like mine in parking lots with identical interiors, but I can never locate the owners to ask

It's like the perfect storm of no information. Is there somewhere on the vehicle I should be able to find this info?

Yes, I had planned on attaching pics, assuming there was no other way to tell.

I snap a couple tomorrow...
 
I'm kinda in the same boat as the OP. I used to think my interior was tan but the more I look at it, the more it looks gray.

guys look at these example...i know now that mine is graystone cuz i damn sure don't have that ugly arse "orange" dash....:shocked: that looks just nasty!! i like my light/dark grey combo even more after seeing that!!
 
Thanks for the sample images, guys. There's no doubt I'm gray. I didn't realize the tan was that... "tan".
 
I took some better pictures of my SVT's Prairie Tan interior and they're here. I hate the tan too. Despite the dashboard being darker than the door panels it still glares from sunlight. The eventual goal someday is to swap the interior. :)

If for whatever reason in the far future I find myself a T-Red SVT with MB interior(they seem to come about more often), do you want to swap with me??

YES!! Although if it's too late you might have to find a few tan parts yourself. If I am lucky, a part or two will be swapped before SZ. I'll have the ugliest two-tone interior at the show :)
