I'm preparing to make my reservations for the All-Fords, and was wondering who among you in the New England area are planning on going. It's June 6-8 (Friday through Sunday) in case you were wondering.

I plan on going again this year. and yeah it would be a good time to make a reservation.

most of the NE people stay at hotel carlisle.

I would suggest posting over there to see what going on with everyone.

I'll be going. It'll be my first car meet of any type, so why not start out national? I'm going with a buddy of mine with a blown mark viii but I'm taking the SVT as well.

just to bring up the old thread. I will be going with at least 5 others and at least one other car (svt focus). we are staying at the holiday inn harrisburg/carlisle. are people driving down thursday during the day? we will be, and probably leaving from my house (springfield/palmer area)

I started tossing around the idea of going this past week.
I started a new hobby and someone i whose brain i would love to pick will have a booth set up there.

just have to figure out if its feasible to go since its so close to SZ

I don't know about from where you live but from my parents carlisle can be done as a day trip

yeah, if i went i would most likely go down Saturday morning and leave Sunday afternoon.
but its probably at least a 6 hour drive.

I noticed some people are planning on camping for like $30 a night.
I think if we'd go, I'd like to camp, just to save some funds.
I'm still on the fence though.

oohh camping sounds like a good idea.
but then i would want to bring the hearse so i wouldn't need a tent!
haha

yeah that's the other issue.
Chris has a small pop up camper that he'd probably let us borrow, but ain't no way we'd want to tow it with the SVT. lol
See now if we had the limo, this would all be a different story. :bah:

I don't think I would stay so short. the thing is so huge I like to have at least 2 full days to walk around. We used to go down thursday night, giving us all friday and all saturday, then we check out and go for half a day sunday, then go straight home from there.

Yeah but when you're Elky, you only have 2 weeks paid vacation time, so after SZ and Aruba, there ain't much else leftover for other trips. ;)
