FYI - UK spec speedometers read in MPH! You may have confused the guy by asking for MPH faces!
They have nearly identical clusters as in the US, since they're the only European country to use MPH. Because of that, they have the little Km/h speed marked, just like in the US.
Rest of Europe, however, nix on the MPH! They only read in Km/h, no little MPH to be found! About the only cars you'll find big Km/h and small MPH are Euro spec US cars (our non-US spec Chevy trucks have Canadian spec guages).
EDIT: Oh man, I dunno where to start on these!!!
Before getting the short end of the stick, I need to get you up to speed on what you linked to!
First: ALL non-ST200 Mondeos read up to 150MPH, where ST200 reads to 160MPH (like the SVT does). The 150MPH will either be fast or slow on a Contour!
Second:
The trip odometer reset button is on the WRONG SIDE (well, unless you have an early 1995 Contour/Mystique with a mechanical speedometer)
Third: Tach looks fine, but I'd reiterate which engine you have (note they had diesels, 1.8L and 2.0L Zetecs and 2.5L Duratecs) so you don't get a tach with a <5000RPM redline!
Don't believe me? Look at this other auction with clearer pics, and then an auction for Contour guages:
150MPH Mondeo speedometer (for mechanical)
Contour speedometer (electric)
And, just for fun,
a set of Mondeo guages reading in Km. The UK has big MPH and small Km/h printed on the face (just like in the US), where the rest of Europe
only have Km/h printed on them. About the only time you see big Km/h and small MPH is on export-spec US cars (example is our non-US spec Chevy trucks that have Canadian spec gauges). And
here's a set of 01-06 diesel Mondeo gauges (4500RPM redline!).
