I found about 5 Contours and 1 Mystique in my searching, and only one had a spoiler, which i'm going back on wednesday to get. If i'm not mistaken, the Contour had two different styles of the sport rim? 8 spoke and 12 spoke. So i guess i learned something new there. I was also wondering if the VCT head would fit on an earlier model Zetec? any ideas?

I also took some time to just walk around and found some really 'nice' cars, such as a Caddy w/ a 32valve Northstar V8, a Porsche 924 S and an almost complete first gen Taurus SHO.

I have pics and i'm uploading them now, so i'll post them in a little bit

Here are some pics of the cars...

Cool! THANK YOU FOR TAKING PICS!!!!

Too many people go to junk yards and dont take photos...I think they are neat!

Someone needs to save that Taurus!!

find me a pre98 center console with a manual transmission next time you're there.. LOL

4 door Grand Am + cowl hood = win

Only as long as u dont sprinkle glitter on the car then coat it again in another coat of clear... it looked like crap...

I'm goin again wednesday and i'll be taking a lot of pics of the 'tours so if u need parts and i have the time, i'll try to get em for ya....

edit:

also the hood on the Pontiac wasnt functional...

Oh man, junk yard runs are soooo fun! I went on one today looking for a few small things but the yard I went to only had two Contours and nothing I was looking for... Tomorrow morning I am going to a bigger yard, I can not wait!!!

Yeah, thanks for the pics. Brings me back to the days of scrounging for parts for my MGB, and spending half the time looking at all the other cars there.

Seems like most of the junkyards around here don't want you actually out among the cars any more, insurance problems maybe?

Poor 924s. Those were a better car than the 944. Was lighter but had the same engine. The 924 on the other hand was a POS.

Looks like that one is in bad shape. No windshield, missing engine parts.

I was only kidding. That hood/car was R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S

I wish I could just browse around the yard. JY's here are stiffenin' security on people going out by them selves 'cause they are taking the own tool boxes, and carrying off a lot of profit for the businesses. There's actually one JY here that brings the car to the front with a fork lift, so no one can go back there at all.
