Alrighty, taken off my nitrous today, go to put the Schrader valve back in the car.. when it snaps... right in half.. Now half is stuck in the Fuel line..

I dont know how to get it out. Can you unscrew the base from the fuel line?

I just put some silicone over it for now. I dont know if that was a good idea. But i'm not driving the car.

On a 1999 Contour SVT.

I assume you mean the post snapped in 1/2 and the bottom part fell into the fuel line. You should be able to get a fuel line/AC line diss-connect tool at the part store (perhaps borrow) and unhook the fuel line before the rail. From there you should be able to wash the parts out of the line utilizing the fuel pump - if you have a return system. If returnless, you may need to remove the rail & an injector.

Be sure to have a bucket to catch the fuel & a small sieve to capture the parts. You'll need a partner to turn the key on/off perhaps.

You will, of course, have to get a new schrader valve.

Its stuck in the threads for the schreader valve... Cant get it out.

I tried to unscrew the base.. and i think i bent the damn fuel line, this isnt good.

Was there any changes in the Fuel lines from 95-99?

I'm sure someone around here has a used fuel rail that you could buy from them. Unfortunatly I dont have one though. That would be the easiest way out.

Good Luck
