Does anybody know if the stock SVT clutch is actually made by LUK ?

I would search, but 3 letter words are excluded from the search.

Its motorcraft all of the way.

I THINK that the clutch components are made in Slovakia.

and the TOB/Slave Cylinder is made in Germany

Alias, you are a retard. You don't think "motorcraft" has factories just for Ford stuf all over the world do you?

Brent, I believe it is Luk, I'd check, but its late. I'll check my stock take-out tomorrow. In the meantime, at least try to put threads like this in the appropriate forum.

Thank you for correcting me, however the insult probably wasn't necessary.

Whats the difference? I think they are but I don't really see the point in getting a LuK clutch unless you're getting a good deal on one. I can get the SVT replacement kit (with TOB/Slave) directly from Ford for about the same price as the LuK ones online. So I'm sure pricing through Bill is also similar.

I paid $268.24 through Steve at Tousley on the 17th. I found the LuK online for about $265

Edit: Hmmm through more searching I found a LuK for about $220 online so it's a little bit cheaper then through Ford but CSVT1214 is correct in that they don't specify SVT or not.

You really need to confirm that it is the SVT clutch. The non SVT uses a different clutch. Terry Haines knows. Maybe he will see this thread and have someone post which clutch is actually the SVT clutch.
