Anyone done it? Is it possible? I can only see one removable bolt, but still leaves it stuck on the inside hinge. Would make my custom dye job a little easier if I can get it off. That's what she said.

When I replaced my rear seat backs I swapped the armrest because the old one was in better shape. From what I remember there is a torx head bolt as part of the pivot on the side that is exposed when the narrower seat is folded down. Even once the bolt is out I still had to spread the bracket since you cannot remove the pin on the other side that corresponds to the bolt removed.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "spread the bracket?" I lifted up the material covering the bracket behind the armrest hoping I could remove it as one piece, but it looked riveted in.

Do you mean physically widen the bracket so that the arm rest can slide out and off of the unremoveable bolt?

Got it out, thanks! Just needed a little elbow grease! (and the info from you that it indeed does pop out after removing that bolt)
