How long does everyone wait after first starting there car to take there car to redline?

You should wait untill the engine is fully warmed up unless you want it to blow up. Also beating on it when its not fully warmed up sucks oil down like no other.

Usually a few minutes of driving until the needle isn't on cold. I cringe when I watch friends start their car, then do a redline burnout while their car is cold. :nonono:

well i wait till i see my oil pressure gauge has gone down till at least 30psi at idle, a cold start for me is 85 psi, anything above 3 grand is 120 psi so i think its bad.
