Zetec (Cougar) Header any good?

Does anyone around here have the cougar zetec header installed? Is it worth the money and can you notice any gain in hp? I've been reading some posts and so far all I've gotten is that they are loud and don't really give any gains.

Whatever headers you use, you should see a little gain; even the loopy little shorty headers will net you something minimal. Worth it by themselves? Probably not. The big problem is the nasty honkin' catalytic converter - huge power sucking hog.

Some 4-1 or 4-2-1 headers for the Cougar, if you can find them, and a mil eliminator will be the ticket. Get a hi flow bullet cat to stay legal & you should net some gains throughout the power band and pass emissions.

Used to be able to get 4-1 Cougar headers from the ZX-2 sites, so look around.
