Where can I bug into the VSS?

Hey, wondering where/which wire is the VSS wire in our cars. I'm guessing/hoping it is one of the ones that plugs into the back of the instrument cluster. I'd think it would have to be. Want to wire the VSS function into my mondeo trip computer.
